Here at Renaissance Academy, we celebrate Black History this month and every month. This year's national theme for Black History Month is "black resistance." By providing equitable educational opportunities to our amazing students, we resist the structural and institutional racism still inherent in local and national educational systems. Our students matter. Black education matters. Please join us in empowering our students to continue to resist.
As we wrap up National School Choice Week, we want to thank all of our families for choosing RA! Please watch this quick video from Dr. Loury sending a message of gratitude.

Our students have been learning more about Harriet Tubman in the library over the past few weeks thanks to the generosity of the Wofford Sculpture Studio and Jacqueline Sprague from JW Management! Thank you so much for allowing us to display this beautiful Harriet Tubman Maquette in our school. What a wonderful way to integrate visual art with social studies and reading!
